Home Sweet Home

All right. Im home again, and yes, the weather didn't disappoint me, it's bloody snowing. Oh well. anyway. here we go. Lot to tell you about. it was a great trip. but since a picture says a thousand words, here's 27.000 words. (i wish that was allowed at exam. suddenly 6000 words doesn't sound too bad.)

Anyway - before i get started, i just wanna tell you. A few hours ago, i became a Boa, yes, I'm a snake, no, Bonus Aunt. My Bonus Sister Emma, gave birth to her daughter. Actually, now i come to think of it, i kinda already was a Bonus Aunt, because Emma's older Brother, my oldest bonus brother, has a son called Evan. though i have never met that part of the family. it's all kinda confusing and tangled. but we'll work it out at some point - i hope. anyway, that was a little bit of REALLY good news.

Here comes the 27.000 words of my trip to England with Nina:

Bichester Village - Fashion Outlet
A little piece of heaven on earth.

Welcome to Bichester Village - Well Thank You.
Shop Shop Shop Amok.

Thank you for visiting.

Camera Fun in the Back Yard.

Salisbury Cathedral
Light and Water art.

If you know Ken Follet's 'Pillars of the Earth' you've heard about Kingsbridge. Kingsbridge doesn't exist but in the book it's placed very close to Salisbury. Salisbury Cathedral is build in the same period.
This past winter, Salisbury Cathedral has housed the Bruce Munro 'Water Towers' and 'Light Shower'

The greenest grass in England

The 'Light Shower' 2000 lights in teardrop shaped glass .

The 'Water Towers' 16.000 water bottles with a string of light. connected in the middle.
They respond to music and change colour.

The middle/center of one of the water towers. the strings from all the bottles in one tower meet.

shaken picture of the tower.

London, England.

Peter Pan - Kensington Gardens, London.

It's said that a three year old once went missing in Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park,
he died and therefore never grew up.

Peter Pan is the boy who never grew up.
The guardian of children dying.

The Globe Theatre seen from the millennium bridge.

Nina in the rain - giving the Sly-Guy look. on millennium bridge.

Millennium Bridge and St. Paul's cathedral.

The Roundhouse Camden - Good Charlotte played here 5 days before. UNFAIR MUCH..!

Piccadilly Circus.

Tokyo Toys - Awesome manga store.

Bill's Café & Produce Store

best thing in the world...! Warm brownie, home made vanilla ice cream, milk chocolate, mmmh mmmh..!

Bill's Hot English Mustard and horseradish sauce with cream? sounds delicious,
but not nearly as good as Bill's beer and black pepper mustard.

Nina trying to interpret Bill's menu.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats Bill's Jelly Babies.
